Once your dryer vent is located, our technician will open the access cover either on the roof or along the outside wall of the house. He will then move the dryer away from the wall and check the transition (flexible) hose for leaks or cracks. The technician will then use a combination of rotary brushes, whips and rods along with a vacuum to clean the vent from top to bottom.
The dryer vent is like the exhaust pipe of your car; with gas dryers, if your dryer vent becomes blocked the gas fumes from your dryer will than back up into your laundry area and house causing an extreme hazard to you and your family. Cleaning the vent prevents this and keeps everything running safe and efficiently!
